The Health Department is a central authority of the Department of Justice, Security and Health of the Canton of Graubünden. It implements federal and cantonal regulations and thus makes a significant contribution to a high-quality, safe and future-proof healthcare system in the canton. The department is divided into the following specialist areas: licensing and supervision of healthcare professions and institutions, cantonal medical service, control of medicinal products and narcotics, finance and controlling, health promotion and prevention, as well as the Graubünden emergency medical service. Tasks: Advising and supporting the department in health supervision in dental matters (particularly supervision of the professional activities of dentists) Involvement in monitoring compliance with professional duties Conducting practice and operational inspections Drafting statements and reports in case of violations of health regulations Informing practicing dentists about their professional obligations Supervising the implementation of school dental care Collaborating in the preparation of statements within the framework of federal, inter-cantonal and professional consultation procedures on regulations in the dental field Inter-cantonal exchange and participation in working groups
