Full description
The Coordination Office for Domestic Violence networks in the canton all agencies dealing with the prevention and combating of domestic and gender-based violence, including police, justice, health care, victim assistance and other counselling centres. It coordinates the implementation of the Istanbul Convention and national and cantonal strategies, develops concepts for dealing with domestic violence and promotes knowledge transfer, prevention and early detection. During the approximately four-month absence of the job holder and for another eight months, we are looking for a committed person who ensures ongoing coordination and is responsible for her own projects.
We are looking for the Office of Social Affairs on 1. January 2027 or by agreement a Deputy Coordinator/in Domestic Authority. The office shall be until 31. December 2027 limited in time.
Tasks
- Ensure coordination between the bodies involved and act as contact person for internal and external bodies and organisations during the absence of the post holder.
- Responsibility for the preparation and implementation of the Days of Action against Domestic Violence 2027 and for the preparation and implementation of awareness-raising work.
- Participation in the development of cantonal data collection in the field of domestic and gender-based violence.
- Collaboration with the job holder on various projects and work in the area before and after her absence.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in social sciences or law or comparable education
- Conceptual skills
- Practical experience in the planning and implementation of projects
- Experience in the field of domestic violence, legislation, data collection, victim support, prevention or in public administration
- Quick comprehension and good linguistic expression
- Independent, structured working method
- Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is advantageous

Quick grasp and good verbal expression
