Full description
The Cantonal Tax Administration is responsible for the collection of direct taxes in the Canton of Graubünden insofar as the legislation does not provide for a competence of the Federation or the municipalities. The Commissariat assesses the income and property taxes of natural persons (direct federal tax and cantonal tax).
We are looking for a controller for the tax administration, department commissariat, on 1 February 2027 or by agreement for the section Internal Services and Control.
Tasks
- Participation and development of the internal control system for the Commissariat and the municipal tax offices to ensure the quality and correct procedural implementation of the tax law and the practical provisions
- Planning, organization and coordination of annually recurring work as well as ensuring timely implementation (invoicing runs, guidance, declaration and assessment software, etc.)
- Identification and planning of development opportunities, synergies and process optimization as well as active participation in corresponding projects
- Development of analyses and reports in cooperation with the department management
- Possibility to take over team leadership
Requirements
- Completed basic commercial education and a university or university degree in business administration, computer science, economics or law
- Knowledge of organisation and coordination
- Experience in IT or controlling
- Basic knowledge of Swiss tax law and the willingness to continuously deepen it
- Structured and reliable working method, high personal responsibility and a high level of quality awareness
- Style-confident oral and written expression in German
- Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is advantageous
Requirements
Completed basic commercial training and a university degree in business administration, IT, economics, or law
Knowledge in organization and coordination
Experience in IT or controlling
Basic knowledge of Swiss tax law with willingness to learn
Structured and reliable working method with high quality awareness
Fluent German in speaking and writing
Good knowledge of multiple cantonal languages advantageous
