The Office for Agriculture and Geoinformation is a department of the Department of Economics and Social Affairs. It comprises the four departments of agricultural measures, structural improvements, surveying and the GIS Competence Center.

The Department of Agricultural Measures is responsible for implementing the federal agricultural policy in the canton of Graubünden. As part of a young team, you will assume responsibility for challenging tasks at the interface of agriculture, spatial planning and water protection. They assess construction projects outside the construction zone from an agricultural point of view and implement the water protection-relevant concerns on agricultural holdings.

We are looking for the BAB / Water Protection department in the agricultural measures department as of 01. February 2027 or by agreement a project manager in BAB and water protection.

Tasks

• Assessment of applications for buildings outside the construction zone from an agricultural perspective
• Management of the farm manure installation review project
• Independent development and implementation of measures for structural and operational water protection in agriculture
• Cooperation in the implementation of direct payments and in the granting of lease contracts
• Collaboration on issues relating to agricultural land law in cooperation with other authorities

Requirements

• Basic agricultural training with further specialist training (specialised certificate or agrotechnician HF, degree FH)
• Good knowledge of agricultural practice and interest in agricultural policy, spatial planning and environmental issues
• Initial experience in project management or the willingness to develop in this area
• Independent, structured and solution-oriented working method as well as initiative and organizational skills
• Teamwork, communication and assertiveness
• Good negotiating skills, reliability and a high willingness to perform
• Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is advantageous
