The Health Office is a central and versatile department of the Department of Justice, Security and Health of the Canton of Graubünden. It implements federal and cantonal decrees and thus makes a significant contribution to high-quality, secure and sustainable health care in the canton. The Office is divided into the following areas: health promotion and prevention, cantonal medical service, licensing and quality, rescue, legal service and staff.

For the staff of the health department, we are looking for a financial controller with expertise in data analysis as of January 2027 or by agreement.

Tasks

• Examinations on site (incl. reporting) at the eligible health care institutions in the areas of hospital statistics, cost accounting, general accounting as well as specific examinations in accordance with legal requirements (teaching and research, emergency and patient transport service, training and further training of nursing staff) for determining the contributions
• Independent implementation of data analyses to compile statistics and further development of this area
• Calculation and disposition of contributions to care providers for practical training in the nursing professions
• Preparation of performance agreements with eligible institutions and preparation of government applications
• Self-employment of financial supervision under the applicable rules

Requirements

• Higher economic education or corresponding specialist diploma or sound commercial education with further training in finance and accounting
• Rapid comprehension, analytical thinking and a high number affinity
• Self-employed and exact working methods
• Initiative, readiness, assertiveness and communication
• Safe use of MS Office programs and AI tools
• Experience with data analysis applications is advantageous
• Very good written and oral expression in the German language
• Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is advantageous
