The Office for Prisoners (AJV) Graubünden is a department of the Department of Justice, Security and Health of the Canton of Graubünden. The AJV is responsible for the execution of penalties and measures as well as the implementation of the various types of detention. In Graubünden, the execution of penalties and measures is thus regulated as a uniform topic and holistic task, in which different professional types or interdisciplinary work with people who have become delinquent in order to prevent further delinquency.

Tasks

• Supervision, supervision and guidance of instructed persons from different cultural areas within the daily structures and the various execution methods on the residential groups
• Direct contact person for questions and concerns of the assigned persons
• Together with the team, you take responsibility for the everyday and leisure activities of the instructed persons on the groups
• Writing rapports and documenting events
• Ensure and coordinate an orderly operation taking into account the legal basis as well as enforcement and safety-related requirements and rules
• Early, day, late and weekend services

Requirements

• Completed min. three-year apprenticeship with EFZ or equivalent education
• Balanced, flexible, capable of conflict, physically and psychologically resilient personality with high social competence
• Enjoying teamwork and interdisciplinary collaboration
• You see dealing with people from different cultures who are in difficult life situations as a positive challenge.
• Good knowledge of German (at least C1); additional knowledge of cantonal and foreign languages is an advantage
• Good computer user knowledge
• Driving licence Cat. B
• Readiness to attend prison training
• An impeccable reputation (no entries in the criminal record and the enforcement record)
