Full description

The civil engineering office is responsible for the design, construction, maintenance and operation of the cantonal roads as well as the hydraulic engineering and slow transport in Graubünden. We also take care of the operational maintenance of the national roads on the cantonal territory. The canton’s road infrastructure comprises over 1,450 art buildings, including bridges at airy heights of up to 90 meters and tunnels of up to 3 kilometers in length. The challenges that the nature of our mountain canton brings in summer and winter make our work challenging and versatile. We are looking for the road maintenance department in the district 3 Samedan per 1. January 2027 or by appointment a road attendant

Tasks

• Execution of road maintenance work in a small maintenance team
• Summer and winter service
• Clean-up and repair work after accidental or natural events
• Control of road conditions and road installations
• Pikettdienst (summer and winter)

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship in construction
• Craftsmanship
• Physical load capacity
• Joy of teamwork
• General working language is Italian, knowledge of German is an advantage
