The public prosecutor's office with its 71 employees is functionally and materially an independent organ of the criminal justice system. It conducts criminal investigations against adults and adolescents in cases of crimes, misdemeanours and violations and has to enforce the state criminal claim. The headquarters of the public prosecutor's office is located in Chur. It has branches in Davos, Ilanz, Roveredo, Samedan and Thusis.

We are looking for the public prosecutor’s office as of 1 December 2026 or 1 January 2027 or by agreement two case officers.

Tasks

• Cooperation in criminal investigations
• Minutes of hearings and copies of various legal documents and decisions
• Processing of criminal offences according to the provisions of the Swiss Federal Code of Criminal Procedure, under the direction of a prosecutor
• Completion of a wide range of secretarial work and close cooperation with various offices, departments and courts

Requirements

• Completed basic commercial training (commercial school or KV) and some years of professional experience
• A very good expression (written and oral) in the German language
• Good knowledge of several cantonal languages is advantageous
• A perfect reputation
• Independence, reliability and forwarding as well as teamwork, discretion, flexibility and high resilience
• Safe use of the usual computer equipment
• Other language skills
