La costruzione della Rete Tram-Treno sta per iniziare. Lunedì mattina davanti alla stampa è stato annunciato che nella seconda metà di ottobre si comincerà con i muri di controriva sulla tratta Bioggio-Manno. Nei primi mesi dell’anno prossimo toccherà al pozzo di collegamento alla stazione ferroviaria a Besso e al portale lato ovest della galleria di Breganzona alla Crespera.

In pratica è la prima parte del progetto: una galleria di oltre due chilometri che collega con il centro città di Lugano. I cantieri non sono invisibili e quindi la popolazione sarà informata, ha assicurato Alberto Del Col, direttore della società Rete Tram Treno.

«Con cantieri di queste dimensioni – ha dichiarato al Radiogiornale della RSI - è fondamentale continuare a tenere curato quello che è il rapporto con tutti i coinvolti sia contrattualmente sia le autorità, ma poi anche e soprattutto la popolazione, perché la popolazione, se è vero che un domani avrà i vantaggi che porta un progetto di questo tipo, è anche vero che nel corso dei cantieri, chi più chi meno, si accorgerà di quello che succede e quindi è giusto che sia informata e giusto che sappia quali sono le misure che mettiamo in atto per restare entro i parametri di legge».
