Social Media & Digital Fundraising Manager (80%)

The Communications department is responsible for Öpublic relations, branding, socio-political positioning and fundraising. Our organization is in exchange with numerous stakeholders and also manages the communication department in the Caritas network on behalf of all Swiss-German regional organizations.

Do you want to combine your social media and content creation skills with social impact? We are looking for a personality who is both responsible for our social media presences and plays an important role in building our digital fundraising:

  • Full responsibility of our social media presence incl. Channel strategy, editorial planning, content production, community management, paid social and performance analysis (for Caritas Zurich and "One Million Stars")
  • In collaboration with the team, we design and implement our digital fundraising funnel: from initial contact with new donors to long-term commitment via email automation and personalization.
  • Co-responsible for the digital campaign of the national action “One Million Stars” incl. Support at the local event in Zurich and higher-level communication in the Caritas network
  • Content production of images, graphics and video also for other channels and communication purposes

They are on the road digitally, think creatively and design appealingly – at the same time keep It focuses on the goals in an impact-oriented manner. They bring the following with them:

  • Several years of experience in digital marketing with a focus on social media presences
  • Knowledge of current social media trends as well as the ability to translate content into emotionally appealing stories and visually edit them effectively
  • Secure use of common creative software (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud) as well as the Meta Business Suite and Google Analytics
  • Willingness to further develop processes and take responsibility for expanding digital fundraising and intelligently linking different channels to an effective fundraising funnel.
  • Basic experience in marketing automation and lead generation via digital channels.
