- Software Engineer in Product Development, you are responsible for the design, implementation and continuous development of functions that improve the shopping experience
- At least 5 years of experience: In object-oriented software development (ideally with .NET technologies or C#)
- Completed study (Uni/ETH, FH, HF): Information technology
Main responsibilities
- As a Senior
- Software Engineer in Product Development, you are responsible for the design, implementation and continuous development of functions that improve the shopping experience
- You develop new features together in the team, implement technical innovations across team boundaries and ensure that our software remains user-friendly, performant and scalable
- You work closely with other engineers as well as with colleagues from the fields of data, design and product management to realize customer-oriented solutions
- You feel comfortable in an agile, experimental environment and like to introduce your own ideas to continuously improve our platform
- You take care of the technical infrastructure of your area of responsibility, monitor the systems and ensure a stable and reliable operation
Key requirements
- At least 5 years of experience: In object-oriented software development (ideally with .NET technologies or C#)
- Completed study (Uni/ETH, FH, HF): Information technology
- You already have a lot of experience with one or more technologies from our tech stack: .NET/C#, relational databases (MSSQL, BigQuery), non-relational databases (MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch) and Azure
- Experience in our frontend stack (React, Next, GraphQL) is of advantage, but no need
- readiness to learn, curiosity and the ability to work on new topics and technologies
- Holistic thinking and a pronounced sense of sustainable, scalable solutions, combined with a pragmatic hands-on mentality
- identify potential for improvement and implement changes to increase productivity and effectiveness
- The ability to adapt to continuous changes in the working environment
