The Analytics, Reporting, Data & Platfoms division contributes to increasing the value of the Migros Group through the targeted use of data.

We use and build a modern data architecture on a state-of-the-art, cloud-based tech stack.

As a motivated data engineer, you will help us model and deploy various data sources on the Migros Analytics Data Platform.

We use and build a modern data architecture on a state-of-the-art, cloud-based tech stack.
You create automated data pipelines (dbt, SQL, Airflow/CloudComposer), as well as continuous integration and deployment workflows for ETL processes using CI/CD
You design and realize data models on the basis of DataVault 2.0, which represent the structure and relationships of the data from the areas of procurement and logistics
Relevant professional experience: in the area of data engineering (SQL, dbt, BigQuery, HF): Completed studies (Uni/ETH, physics, business informatics) or a comparable training
You have proven knowledge of common data warehouse principles and technologies (SQL, dbt, BigQuery, Terraform)

You create automated data pipelines (dbt, SQL, Airflow/CloudComposer), as well as continuous integration and deployment workflows for ETL processes using CI/CD
You design and realize data models on the basis of DataVault 2.0, which represent the structure and relationships of the data from the areas of procurement and logistics
You take over the professional lead of the team, drive architecture decisions and are in close exchange with the PO
You develop and operate scalable, recyclable data products (Data Mesh), which provide business-critical key figures within Migros You work with

Relevant professional experience: in the area of data engineering (SQL, dbt, BigQuery, HF): Completed studies (Uni/ETH, physics, business informatics) or a comparable training
You have proven knowledge of common data warehouse principles and technologies (SQL, dbt, BigQuery, Terraform)
You have experience in the professional management of teams and good architecture knowledge
You have solid programming knowledge in Python as well as the Shell Scripting (Bash) Skills
