Role overview

• Develop Java applications according to requirements and specifications in flat hierarchies

• Driving forward planning, analysis and implementation of software solutions, developing innovative solutions (partly also in the home office)

• Collaborate with other team members to create high-quality code, actively participate in code reviews and continuously improve development processes

• Maintain and optimize existing applications

• Completed degree in computer science, software engineering or comparable qualification

• In-depth knowledge of Java programming as well as experience with Spring Framework or Java EE

• Good knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design as well as frontend technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS

• Experience with databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and microservices architectures

• Familiarity with agile development methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

• Active knowledge of a second official language
