As Business Owner Identity and Access Services, you are responsible for the strategic development and operation of central IAM services of the BIT. You will also actively contribute to the further development of PKI and Trust Services and contribute to the sustainable development of the digital trust and identity landscape of the Federal Administration. You set clear priorities and ensure that security, governance and user orientation work together optimally. You combine technological excellence with economic thinking and lead your organizational unit into the future in a dynamic environment.

You can make this contribution

• Overall responsibility for the Business Unit Identity & Access Services with focus on strategic, professional and financial management
• Responsible for the further development of central IAM services (Identity & Access Management), ensuring their secure and sustainable operation and actively promoting the alignment, prioritization and roadmap of the platforms; further developing PKI and trust services in a targeted manner
• Responsibility for projects with relevant financial volumes and ensuring optimal use of resources
• Making sound technical, professional and economic decisions (including assessing risks, opportunities and dependencies) as well as defining governance, security and compliance requirements and ensuring compliance
• Actively shape the vision and objectives of the associated services and value streams and assume overall responsibility across the entire service and product lifecycle
• Close cooperation with architecture, security, engineering and other stakeholders and act as a central interface between business, IT and external partners

This makes you unique

• University degree in computer science, business informatics or comparable qualification
• In-depth experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) as well as in complex, security-critical or regulated IT environments
• Several years of experience in controlling platforms, services or IT products at a strategic level
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to evaluate technical, economic and organizational aspects holistically
• High decision-making and enforcement strength as well as a sovereign presence in demanding stakeholder situations; strong economic understanding (costs, benefits, risks, long-term impact)
• Very good communication skills and knowledge of at least two official languages and passive knowledge of a third official language
