- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant GMP, safety, and environmental regulations, including performing detailed risk assessments.
- Act as the central point of contact for internal teams (Production, EHS, Engineering) and external waste disposal partners.
- Monitor the "disposability" of materials and secure alternative disposal paths to prevent operational bottlenecks.
- Standardize cross-functional waste processes and leverage technology or data-driven approaches to improve efficiency.
- Control KPIs, generate detailed reports, and derive actionable improvement measures to promote recycling and sustainable solutions.
- Support and represent the Waste Logistics Manager in strategic projects and daily management tasks. What we are looking for:
- Degree in Chemical/Pharma Technology, Environmental Engineering, Biotechnology, Waste Management, or a comparable qualification (alternatively, extensive practical experience in a similar environment).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in chemical or biopharmaceutical production or long-term operational experience in high-complexity logistics.
