Role overview
Within the Directorate-General for Agriculture, Viticulture and Veterinary Affairs (DGAV), you support the Director of the Directorate for Agriculture, Viticulture and Land Improvement (DAGRI) in steering the Vaudian agricultural policy and implementing the federal agricultural policy.
Right-wing management, you orchestrate the coordination of its strategic projects and ensure their consistency.
You also lead the rural economy sector, leading a team and developing orientations that shape the future of the canton's agriculture and food system.

- Master's degree in agronomy of a federal polytechnic school or in public policy, or title deemed equivalent.
- Further training in project management and team management.
- Confirmed experience of at least five years in an executive position in agriculture, agri-food or public administration. Mastery of German;
- English is an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of the agricultural and food system, systemic vision and strong sense of planning and timeliness.
- Demonstrated managerial abilities: leadership, decision-making, analytical and synthesis capacity, delegation and stress management.
- Relationship, editorial, oratory, sense of public service and taste for networking.
