- Diploma of the lab technician school (CFC or ECL) or equivalent, or bachelor degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience working with library preparation and microfluidic set-ups.

- Keeping and updating inventories of chemicals and biologicals Maintenance of instruments
- Preparation of common solutions for the lab
- Keeping a well-maintained lab with team members
- Supervise good laboratory practices and biosafety rules
- Support researchers and students in their experiments
- Conventional molecular biology techniques (PCR, RT-PCR, Western) Cell culture Library preparation for sequencing
- Immunofluorescence staining and flow cytometry Microfluidics chip fabrication
- Running experiments with different microfluidic set-ups Writing reports and communicating results
Exigences principales
- Diploma of the lab technician school (CFC or ECL) or equivalent, or bachelor degree in a relevant discipline.
- Experience working with library preparation and microfluidic set-ups.
- Strong spoken and written competency in English and French.
- Highly organized and interactive personality.
- Detail-oriented, able to multitask and perform precise work, as well as record and report results with clarity and details.
- Proactive and motivated to learn and master new methods and techniques.

- The central research focus of the Laboratory of Systems Biology and Genetics (LSBG) is to understand genome organization, regulation, and variation and is broadly partitioned according to three major research pillars:
- Adipo - in the “Adipo” pillar, we are characterizing the regulatory mechanisms driving mesenchymal stromal cell heterogeneity and function in adipose biology and other metabolically relevant processes. Geno
- In the “Geno” pillar, we are examining how variation in the regulatory code affects molecular and organismal diversity.
- Techno - in the “Techo” pillar, we are developing novel microfluidic, high-throughput sequencing, single cell omic, and computational approaches, which are used to address biological questions in the other two pillars. Your Mission
- Ensure smooth and safe daily lab operations while providing technical support to researchers and students across molecular biology, cell culture, and microfluidics workflows.
