Canton of Zurich Education Directorate Office for Youth and Vocational Counselling School social worker/in school Fallanden, temporary 70% Good for life – that is our motto. The Office for Youth and Vocational Counselling (AJB) is responsible for child and youth welfare as well as professional counselling. Our work focuses on children, young people and families. We work for them every day with a lot of heart and commitment. For the school Fallanden we are looking for temporary from 1. March 2027 to July 31, 2027 or by agreement with permanent employment option a school social worker (70%). They advise and accompany students, parents and teachers in educational and social matters. In crises and conflicts, you perform interventions in classes. Furthermore, you do prevention and project work. They work with school management, school teams and specialist bodies. They bring with them:
- a diploma from a university of applied sciences in social work or social education
- Professional experience in school social work or the CAS school social work with consulting experience at the interface youth welfare and school
- Competences in consultancy, prevention and intervention
- An independent and interdisciplinary working method
- High communication skills
