- Carries out applied research on the issues of sustainability of materials and production systems, with particular attention to the development and evolution of integrated evaluation methods supported by digital tools.
Main responsibilities

- Carries out applied research on the issues of sustainability of materials and production systems, with particular attention to the development and evolution of integrated evaluation methods supported by digital tools.
- Contributes to the methodological development of innovative approaches for sustainability assessment, including the extension towards new metrics, prospective and ex-ante approaches, eco-cost and emerging indicators, depending on the needs of research and industrial innovation.
- Participates in the integration of sustainability methods within software platforms and digital tools, collaborating with IT and data management profiles to define scientific and functional requirements.
- Develops research activities focused on specific thematic areas, such as sustainable and bio-based materials, carbon footprint and carbon removal, energy minimization in production systems and sustainable logistics, encouraging the convergence of these themes in a coherent line of research.
- Contributes autonomously to scientific production, through the drafting of articles for conferences and scientific journals and the presentation of the results in national and international contexts.
- Participates in research activities carried out within national and European projects, providing qualified scientific contributions and contributing to the development of the institute's research lines.
- Contributes to the writing of project proposals as a natural extension of one's research activity, with particular reference to the definition of the scientific line, the methodological approach and the impact elements.
- Supports training, teaching and supervision activities of bachelor and master students, ensuring coherence between training contents and developed research topics. Requirements
- Master's degree (MSc or MSE) in Engineering, preferably in Industrial Engineering, Management or similar disciplines.
