A commercial apprenticeship at the Social Department? Whether in accounting or at the counter of our social centers: with us you have the opportunity to make a valuable contribution and to engage in a social Zurich.

Together with us, you decide in the selection process whether you take the specialized path with in-depth insight into working with clients or the generalist path with diverse assignments in very different areas of the social department. In both profiles you get exciting insights into different teams and get to know a wide range of tasks of the social department.

Tasks

• You will process inquiries from residents of the city of Zurich in the specialist profile, support specialists in administrative tasks and help ensure that consultations are professionally prepared and followed up.
• You work in the generalist profile in various teams of the social department. You coordinate tasks at different interfaces and with different customers, research and analyze information, participate in the organization of events and support the further development of processes and services.
• In both profiles, you work with modern digital applications, edit information carefully and take on administrative tasks with responsibility.
• You create independently correspondence, reports, minutes and presentations and communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.

Profile

• Sek B degree with a grade average of about 4.5 or Sek C degree with a grade average of about 5.0 in the main subjects (mathematics, German, English).
• You enjoy working together in a team and with people from different backgrounds.
• You like to communicate, clearly and transparently - and can listen well.
• You are an organizational talent, perform your tasks reliably and take responsibility for your actions.
• You enjoy computer work and the use of various applications.
• You can express yourself well in the German language both verbally and in writing.
