Tasks
- Strategy implementation and portfolio management: You specify the implementation plan for the “Sports City of Zurich 2035” strategy, manage the cross-divisional project portfolio of the Sports Office and systematically monitor the implementation progress.
- Management of complex projects: You coordinate and lead cross-sectoral projects of high strategic importance.
- Support of the management and steering groups: You prepare strategic foundations and advise the management and steering groups.
Profile
- Education: Completed Master's degree (University, ETH, FH).
- Project experience: Several years of experience managing interdisciplinary projects.
- Communication: safe presence in committees, presentations and training
- In the word and in writing.
- Methodology: High analytical and conceptual skills as well as networked thinking.
- Advantage: experience in public administration, ideally across departments
- Interest in sport and knowledge of the Zurich sports landscape and sports promotion.

About us
The Sports Department is a service department of the School and Sports Department of the City of Zurich. It is the competence centre for sports promotion and provides sports facilities as well as indoor and outdoor swimming pools to the sportingly active population and clubs. The organisation of compulsory swimming lessons and voluntary school sports are also core tasks of the Sports Office. With targeted information, the Sports Office motivates more movement and advises and supports the sports organizations.
