The Center for Social Psychiatry (ZSP) is embedded in the clinical care and university research structures of adult psychiatry and psychotherapy. The Supported Employment department of the Psychiatric University Hospital Zurich supports people with mental illnesses related to work and mental health. We coach them in an existing workplace, in the search for a new job or during integration measures. We work in a resource-oriented, interdisciplinary network, according to recognized methods and according to the current state of research.

Their tasks

• Performing job coaching and case management with people with mental illness
• Supporting clients in existing employment relationships
• Development of health-promoting strategies in the context of work
• Conducting system conversations in the workplace
• Advising and supporting the acquisition of clients around the job search
• Collaboration with clients and treating psychiatrists and psychotherapists
• College degree in psychology or social work
• Several years of professional experience accompanying people with mental illness
• Further training in the field of counselling, coaching or therapy desired
• Very good communication skills (verbal and written) as well as negotiation skills
• Interest and flair for the acquisition of jobs with systemic thinking and acting
• High resilience, willingness to assume responsibility and independence in case management
