For the Sporthalle Blumenfeld we are looking for 1. November 2026 or by agreement a*n professional / -woman maintenance sports facilities, 80-100% (temporary for 6 months).

Tasks

• They ensure that our numerous guests with their versatile requirements and needs always feel welcome and comfortable.
• They take facilities in / out of service and support sportsmen, clubs and organizers in the use of the facilities.
• They oversee the lively sports operations, enforce our rules of conduct and help to serve our customers in emergencies.
• They actively participate in the maintenance of the sports hall and carry out maintenance and cleaning work.
• They perform simpler administrative tasks and are contacts for our customers, schools and associations.

Profile

• A flexible, sports-loving, friendly and independent personality with a high level of service awareness
• Completed vocational apprenticeship with a federal certificate of ability (EFZ) and advantageous professional experience in the field of sports facilities
• Experience in cleaning and maintenance as well as handling machines and equipment
• Good knowledge of German in words and writing as well as good communication skills in contact with internal and external customers
• Willingness to work irregularly, in the evening, and on weekends

About us

The Sports Department is a service department of the School and Sports Department of the City of Zurich. It is the competence center for sports promotion and provides the sports enthusiast population and clubs with the sports facilities including indoor and outdoor pools. The organisation of compulsory swimming lessons and voluntary school sports are also core tasks of the Sports Office. With targeted information, the Sports Office motivates more movement and advises and supports the sports organizations.
