For the Economic Assistance specialist unit at Wipkingerplatz Social Centre, we are looking for a motivated individual starting on January 1, 2027, or by agreement, on a fixed-term basis until December 31, 2027.

Tasks

• You support the specialist unit in preparing and developing technical foundations and in compiling decision-making bases, specialist information, reports and practical tools in the area of financial social assistance.
• You handle assignments related to a new case management system, thereby supporting citizen-oriented, efficient and correct administrative action.
• With support from your team colleagues, you advise employees and management personnel on maintaining and developing specialist knowledge and service quality, and on implementing new requirements and guidelines.
• You support the planning and implementation of projects and participate in working groups and committees.
• You gain insight into the work and organization of Switzerland's largest social services department and become familiar with processes within an urban administrative context.

Profile

• You have a master’s degree in social sciences, law, economics, or the humanities.
• You are interested in approaching tasks and projects on an interdisciplinary basis and developing optimal solutions while taking into account social policy, legal, business administration, and technical perspectives.
• You possess methodological skills for handling tasks in a structured manner.
• You enjoy project work and support the planning and implementation of projects.
• Very good oral and written communication skills as well as very good IT skills.
