Full description

We are looking for a committed and motivated specialist who, together with the cleaning team, can carry out the cleaning work in the Museum Rietberg. In addition, you are responsible for compliance with and implementation of the hygiene, safety and safety guidelines.

Tasks

• They organize and coordinate the daily cleaning work and work actively in the daily cleaning.
• You take over the professional and personnel management of the cleaning team and plan work assignments, holidays and absences.
• They ensure a high cleaning quality and attach particular importance to careful cleaning in the environment of art objects, exhibition structures and museum facilities.
• They are responsible for material management in the area of cleaning (orders, storage, consumption control) and the organisation of cleaning textiles (washing, drying, provisioning).
• They plan and periodically carry out special cleaning in ancillary rooms, warehouses, technical zones and sensitive areas and support cleaning work in the context of exhibition changes or events.

Profile

• Completed vocational training as a building cleaner* in EFZ or equivalent training
• Several years of professional experience in cleaning, ideally in a museum or in a public environment
• Very good knowledge of current cleaning techniques, means and machinery
• Experience in team management, leadership training is beneficial
• Good knowledge of German in words and writing
