Tasks

• As a technical project manager for our railway technology projects, you develop and draft complex depot and railway technology projects in the VBZ project team.
• You are responsible for the planning of the technical disciplines of electrical systems and road.
• In your discipline, traction power supply, grounding and return line, or control technology for catenary systems, you take over the project planning yourself.
• You are responsible for professional and high-quality planning. In doing so, you coordinate and take responsibility for the project planning and support the tender; majority in cooperation with the various divisions of the Verkehrsbetriebe Zürich VBZ.
• As a competent contact person, you provide information, carry out technical investigations and develop practical solutions for improving quality in the interest of VBZ.
• For submissions, together with our purchasing and legal service, you collect offers, purchase them and derive orders or work contracts from them.

Profile

• You bring several years of experience in railway technology, local transport or depot operations.
• You have supplemented your professional experience with a further education as a technician HF in or with a study of engineering.
• In order to acquire the necessary expert knowledge, you are looking for a long-term challenge and are motivated to deepen in this area.
• Ideally, you will be familiar with planning approval procedures and the relevant standards of railway technology (Directives for Railway Technology (RTE), Railway Ordinance (EBV) and their implementing provisions).
• You are an exact and responsible person.
• We presuppose initiative and motivation for technical work.
• You are aware of the usefulness of your work for public transport.

Great, then we are happy to make you a fair wage offer, which is between CHF 120,000.00 and 150,000.00 annual wage (100% amount). We are often also interested in applications from talents who do not yet meet all requirements or on the other hand have an above-average amount of knowledge and experience. In such cases, initial wages are also easily below or above this range.
