Tasks

• Pensum: about 65%, 18 week lessons
• Class: various classes of secondary education

Main tasks

• Planning, preparation and implementation of teaching based on the curriculum
• Follow-up and evaluation of lessons
• Advising pupils on individual learning and performance difficulties as well as showing funding opportunities
• Collaboration in the college, with school management, external specialist bodies and guardians

Profile

• Teaching diploma for secondary education, recognized in Switzerland
• CAS DaZ, or the willingness to complete it

About us

We are a large school community in Zurich-Nord with 19 schools. We derive our pedagogical attitude from the concept of New Authority and thus meet the daily challenges in everyday school life together and effectively.

The school Im Birch has a modern infrastructure, is located in "Neu-Oerlikon" and can be reached in 5 minutes' walk from Oerlikon train station. It comprises 14 primary classes, 5 kindergartens and 4 nurseries. At the secondary school, teachers teach in the teaching sequences of Self-Organized Learning (SOL) mixed-level team teaching.
