Canton of Zurich Financial Directorate Tax Office Tax Commissioner/-in inheritance and gift tax 80 - 100% Welcome to the fascinating world of taxes! Together with the municipal tax offices, the cantonal tax office collects taxes for the Confederation, the canton and the municipalities. We support individuals and companies throughout the tax collection process. Around 800 qualified employees are committed to this at the Altstetten location in Zurich. In the estate department, in particular, the assessment of the inheritance and gift tax and the assessment of ordinary taxes in connection with deaths takes place. You can specialize in tax law and count on a competent network for questions. For our team, we are looking for the right reinforcement immediately or by agreement. Your tasks
- Audit and assessment of tax returns of deceased persons
- Assessment of inheritance and gift taxes, including the preparation and control of real estate and company valuations
- Assessment of supplementary capital taxes
- Processing of ruling requests
- Professional contact person for enquiries from heirs, representatives of heirs and executors of wills and professional advice to the assigned municipal tax offices
- Representation of the Canton of Zurich in appeal proceedings Your profile
- Several years of experience in taxation and/or
- Higher specialist training in finance and accounting, trust or as a business economist HF or successfully completed bachelor's degree, ideally in business administration or law or similar training
- Independent and self-responsible working methods as well as high decision-making and analysis capability
- Convincing Appearance and Empathy
- Very good written and oral communication skills in German We offer
