Fixed-term position until July 31, 2027, with the possibility of permanent employment thereafter

For our young Riedtli school, we are looking for an engaged and responsible individual starting February 1, 2027, or by agreement, who enjoys actively helping shape school-enrichment care and leisure activities.

Responsibilities

• You look after children at primary and kindergarten level as part of school-enrichment care and help shape everyday life at the school.
• You contribute to the cluster teams and help further develop shared educational approaches and procedures.
• You support the team of the entire care facility flexibly as a substitute at kindergarten and primary level.
• Through your presence and attitude, you contribute to implementing the principles of New Authority.

Profile

• You are an engaged, motivated and curious professional and have completed training as a childcare specialist EFZ or completed a degree in social work, a teaching diploma or comparable pedagogical studies.

• You treat employees and children with appreciation, clarity and reliability and, through your presence, contribute to implementing New Authority.

Important: All foreign diplomas and professional certificates must be accompanied by a Swiss equivalence confirmation.

About Us

In the summer of 2025, a new primary school with a full-day program opened in the former Riedtli secondary school building in the Unterstrass district. It comprises two double kindergartens, ten regular classes, and three special education classes. By 2030, the school will grow to twelve regular classes. On each of the four upper floors, two to three regular classes and one multi-grade special education class form a cluster with shared spaces and close collaboration within the entire team. As an inclusive, modern full-day school, we aim to create an attractive learning, living, and working environment where everyone feels comfortable and can develop their potential.
