Temporary position until 31.07.2027 with possibility of subsequent permanent employment

For our young school Riedtli we are looking for 1. 2027 or by appointment a committed and responsible person who enjoys actively shaping the school-complementary care and leisure activities.

Tasks

• They look after the children of the primary and kindergarten level as part of the school supplementary care and shape everyday life in the schoolhouse.
• They participate in the cluster teams and participate in the further development of common pedagogical attitudes and processes.
• They flexibly support the team of the entire care facility as a jumper at the kindergarten and primary level.
• You contribute with your presence and attitude to the implementation of the principles of the New Authority.

Profile

• You are a committed, motivated and curious specialist and have completed training as a specialist / supervisor EFZ or a completed study of social work, a teaching diploma or a comparable educational study.
• They identify with our values: being human – valuing diversity – living community.
• They set clear guidelines, provide orientation and at the same time create scope for development.
• You meet employees and children in an appreciative, clear and reliable way and contribute with your presence to the implementation of the New Authority.
• Collaboration in a team – also with different professional groups within the entire school – enriches you and you appreciate the professional exchange.
• They are flexible and ready to competently accompany different groups and situations.

Important: All foreign diplomas and professional cards must be accompanied by a Swiss equivalence certificate.

About us

In the summer of 2025, a new primary school was opened in the former Riedtli secondary school building in the Unterstrass district. It comprises two double kindergartens, ten rule classes and three classes of the curative school. By 2030, the school will grow to twelve rule classes. In each of the four upper floors, two to three rule classes and a multi-year class of the curative education school form a cluster with shared rooms and close cooperation in the overall team. As an inclusive, modern day school, we want to create an attractive place to learn, live and work, where everyone feels comfortable and develops their potential.
