Data Governance Expert (Master Data) — SRG SSR

How does the SSR ensure that its most important data – all regions, languages and entities of the company – are consistent, reliable and usable? As part of this transformation, we are putting in place a company-wide data governance that specifically addresses this issue. Within the Data Governance team, you are responsible for the Master Data and contribute decisively to ensuring the consistency and quality of the data used by the SSR works on the basis of a homogeneous and high quality data set.

Your Mission

• You develop, manage and update standards and guidelines for GIS-wide reference data
• You define and manage business rules for critical reference data objects
• You coordinate the integration of reference data between the different fields and ensure their consistency between systems and areas of activity
• You monitor the quality of the baseline data, identify deviations and implement corrective actions in collaboration with data managers
• You bring your technical expertise to data managers and business services in the use of reference data management tools
• You actively participate in the "Reference Data" community of practice and ensure, if necessary, the animation

Your profile

• University degree or equivalent training, as well as strong experience in metadata management
• Good understanding of data architectures, processes and models, as well as business rules and their practical application
• Experience in establishing governance standards, processes or structures, as well as with reference data management tools
• Knowledge of the DAMA-DMBOK repository, in particular the management of reference and master data; CDMP certification is an asset
• Strong communication and animation skills in interdisciplinary and cross-cutting contexts to support business services in data usage, structuring and quality assurance
• Very good C1 language skills in a national language, as well as in German and French at least at B1 level and in English at B1 level
