We are looking for 1. November 2026 due to increase of the team for the day school reinforcement.

Tasks

As a social pedagogue or FaBe, you are responsible for four days per week (Monday 10:00-14:00, Tuesday 10:00-14:00, Thursday 11:00-18:00, Friday 09:30-14:00) together with two hoarding management, three specialists supervisors, two school assistants and one student in the supervisor Vogtsrain 2 for primary school students (1st kindergarten to 2nd grade). An open and cheerful support team awaits you, who will be happy to meet you. You take your holidays in the school-free time. In addition, you complete about one week a year assignment in the holiday camp. More detailed information can be discussed in a personal conversation with the management.

• They contribute to the school-complementary care and leisure of children of primary school age.
• They lead larger groups of children and maintain contact with our parents.
• Intensified cooperation with the teachers and the rest of the school team on the way to the day school (regular exchange, class council, joint events, etc.).
• Domestic and administrative work
• Planning and implementation of holiday care and school-free care

Profile

• Professional experience in the care of children (hoard, crèche, home) and a flair for working with children aged 4-8 years
• Enjoy working with teachers and carers
• Openness and commitment in the change process to day school (start of school year 2026/2027)
• Flexibility and resilience as well as very good team and communication skills
• solution-oriented basic attitude in daily work and in dealing with challenges
• Tackling and pragmatic working methods
• Humor and a positive attitude
• Very good knowledge of German

they hold one of the following financial statements:

• University of Social Work (FH/HF), or equivalent education at tertiary level in the educational field, or
• Kindergarten and Hort Seminar or
• Pedagogical College (teacher, kindergarten teacher) or
• Apprenticeship degree as a specialist/supervisor or toddler educator/in EFZ (mandatory)

(All foreign diplomas and professional cards must be accompanied by a Swiss equivalence certificate)

About us

The Vogtsrain school is located in the Höngg district near the Meierhofplatz with wonderful views of the Üetliberg. In a morning table and five lunch/evening hoards, around 310 children of our school are cared for.
