Main responsibilities
- Competently advise, accompany and empower people with diabetes mellitus – with a focus on self-management, health competence and quality of life
- Provide individual training on therapies, glucose monitoring, insulin therapy and diabetes technologies
- Interprofessional with doctors: working together, nutritional advice, care and other specialist areas
- Carry out outpatient and inpatient consultations independently (about 80% outpatient/20% inpatient)
- Contribute expertise and participate in the further development of evidence-based diabetes counselling
- Interest in specialization in the field of diabetes counselling and motivation for further training as a diabetes specialist consultant: in HFP
- Enjoying counselling, education and resource-oriented support for people with diabetes as well as caring for their caregivers
- Interest in complex issues around diabetes, forms of therapy and new technologies
- Joy of interprofessional cooperation and active participation
