Canton of Zurich Education Directorate Secondary School and Vocational Education Office Commissioner/vocational colleges 80% ENGAGIRATED, COMPETENT AND NETWORKED THINKING The Secondary School and Vocational Education Office is the competence and service centre for vocational education, high schools, higher vocational education and training in the Canton of Zurich. We support and supervise the secondary schools, the vocational colleges, the providers of vocational preparation years and the teaching establishments. We are looking for 1. March 2027 or by agreement for reinforcement for our team an open, committed and solution-oriented personality: a commissioned vocational college (80%) . The office shall be until 31. August 2030 temporary . As commissioned vocational schools, you are the direct contact person for the school management, in particular for the rectors and provide support in organizational, personnel, legal and financial questions and deal with the concerns of the schools. They examine requests for purchases, conduct discussions and negotiations with different stakeholders and coordinate their cooperation. You participate in various projects and support other school officers in the team
- Your profile You have a bachelor's or master's degree, higher vocational training or equivalent education. Thanks to your life experience and in-depth knowledge of humanity, you can safely enter into negotiations and move confidently in the Swiss education system and in complex structures. They bring experience in project work and are characterized by initiative, teamwork and a solution-oriented way of working. Your pronounced communicative skills, both verbally and in writing, are used appropriately and with a good sense for the other person. You work independently, find pragmatic solutions in challenging situations and quickly grasp complex contexts in order to adapt your actions accordingly.
