For our school swimming facilities (SSA) in Riedtli, we are reinforced by appointment as a cleaning employee (10-15%) in the hourly wage.

Tasks

• They clean the swimming pool, all wardrobes, as well as shower and auxiliary rooms with special cleaning agents, in compliance with our high hygienic guidelines.
• They perform the following assignments during the school weeks: during the week in the evening, 9 p.m. to about 11 p.m. (maintenance cleaning) and or on weekends (Saturday afternoon four hours of basic cleaning or on Sunday two hours from 5 p.m.).
• They help during the school holidays with the holiday cleaning and the main cleaning and are also ready to make holiday and sickness representations.
• Possible assignments: SSA Riedtli in Unterstrass: Saturday (4 hours) and if suitable further assignments possible – temporary until the end of 2026.

Profile

• Ideally, several years of experience in cleaning
• Flexibility, trustworthiness and reliability
• Experience in self-responsible, dutiful and exact work and high quality standards (thorough cleaning)
• good oral knowledge of German as well as a good physical constitution (temperature in SSA about 30° at high humidity)
• Enjoying a contribution that the children can be taught in a clean and hygienic environment

About us

The Sports Department is a service department of the School and Sports Department of the City of Zurich. It is the competence centre for sports promotion and makes the sports facilities including indoor and outdoor pools available to the sports-loving population and clubs. The organisation of compulsory sports and swimming lessons and voluntary school sports are also core tasks of the Sports Office. It ensures that children and adolescents of the city of Zurich have available spaces for sports and exercise.
