The "Expansion and Renewal Projects" department deals with all the construction projects of the FFS Infrastructure division, concerning the extension, modernization and renewal of the railway infrastructure of the FFS. About 1800 collaborators and collaborators work every day to implement the requirements required in over 2000 construction projects. As part of Building Information Modelling (BIM), "geomatics" plays a central role in recording existing data. The specialist field is also responsible for updating and managing the system of ordering in "Databack of fixed systems (DfA)" (road network, rail network, fixed points) and the quality of the rail insurance network. Develop your talent in a motivated and ambitious management team of Engineering and directly contribute to the development of Switzerland's transport infrastructure, with particular attention to the use of innovative technologies and the benefits for customers. • Within the "Engineering" business unit, the "Geomatic" specialised area is established. (about 50 employees). Together with your management team you will further develop the specialized scope in a future-oriented way.
• Your main activities include direct management and coaching of 4 Capiteams and an expert at Renens, Olten, Zurich-Altstetten and Bellinzona.
• Ensure the performance of the specialized field in terms of resources and skills and you are responsible for the safe design and realization, in accordance with the costs, deadlines and quality of all the projects of expansion and renewal in the specialized "Geomatica".
• With digitization, harmonization and standardization of collaboration with both internal and external partners, you can actively contribute to the efficient implementation of projects.
• You are responsible for the specialized management "Geomatica", representing the interests of the SBB and the specialized field and you are the interlocutor for the internal and external stakeholders.
• As a member of the management team of "Engineering" you provide advice and support in terms of content and processes on strategic and conceptual issues, as well as for the sustainable, cultural and digital development of the entire business unit.
