Tasks

• You lead and are responsible for our Visual Communications & Media division with the two teams Print and Graphics and are thus a member of the management board.
• You are responsible for the strategic development of our products and services in your business area.
• You will position and strengthen the business area as a municipal competence centre for visual communication and media in the city administration.
• You advise and supervise the urban clientele on major projects and longer-term agreements and accompany them from planning to implementation.
• You represent our interests and concerns in urban working groups and in associations.

Profile

• You have a broad professional education and training in the field of typography, graphics, reproduction technology, level HF or FH or comparable, preferably rounded off with business knowledge.
• You have several years of leadership experience in leading teams, complex projects or in a comparable position in the design and production sector.
• Your pronounced analytical-conceptual and methodological skills as well as your affinity for digital transformation are well reflected in this function.
• You bring very good oral and written communication skills and work results-oriented with a high quality standard.
• You are a service-oriented, dynamic personality with a pinch of humor and you are familiar with management processes.

Geomatics + Surveying (GeoZ) is a service department of the City of Zurich with around 85 employees, including 11 apprentices in four professions. We measure the city in high quality, make the geoinformation available to interested parties and strive for innovative solutions as a forward-looking and reliable service provider.
