The Case Management of the City of Zurich supports sick or injured employees in maintaining their ability to work and in reintegration into the work process and is part of the Health and Case Management division.

For the management of one of our two case management teams, we are looking for a leader who, together with the management team, actively shapes the professional, personnel and organizational development of the area.

Tasks

• They lead 11 employees, provide orientation, set clear priorities and create framework conditions for effective cooperation.
• Together with the second team management, they ensure the high-quality implementation of case management and continuously develop it further.
• They advise employees, managers and HR specialists from different service departments in a wide range of professional fields.
• You take over case management for individual cases and plan suitable measures for reintegration into the work process.
• They coordinate and network internal and external contact points such as managers, HR specialists, medical professionals, social insurance companies and other stakeholders.

Profile

• Several years of experience in professional reintegration or case management as well as in-depth knowledge of social security law.
• Leadership and project management experience, preferably in public administration, in a political environment and/or a larger organization.
• Conceptual thinking skills as well as the pleasure of recognizing developments at an early stage, contributing your own ideas and actively promoting topics.
• Strong consulting and communication skills as well as a solution- and resource-oriented working method.
• A good understanding and interest in business, medical and labour law issues.
• University of applied sciences degree in health or social services, in psychology or a comparable qualification.
