Full description

We are looking for the period from 1 December 2026 to 11. June 2027 a management care as a deputy during maternity leave.

Tasks

• They provide the workload of 60% on Monday, Thursday and Friday and are in the care facilities over noon.
• You are the contact person for two support teams with around 22 employees and take over the personnel management for these two teams.
• Further tasks are: management of the Peps.Net (time recording tool), planning of the holiday care as well as the school days and further administrative work
• If necessary, you will work in the recruitment of school assistants, FaBe and advisors and represent the area of care in all school-relevant topics and committees.

Profile

• Graduate degree in the field of pedagogy or social pedagogy at tertiary level (technical college, higher technical school, recognised patent as primary or kindergarten teacher). For applications with a foreign diploma / certificate, a Swiss diploma recognition must be attached
• Completed leadership training
• Resilient, strong-leading personality with a high level of social and self-competence and a positive human image
• Safe appearance and joy in dealing with children and adults from different cultures
• Willingness for interdisciplinary cooperation in the school team, responsibility and flexibility as well as very good team and communication skills
• Security in organizational and administrative matters, including very good computer skills

About us

We are a large school community in Zurich-Nord with 18 schools. We derive our pedagogical attitude from the concept of New Authority and thus meet the daily challenges in everyday school life together and effectively.

The day school Apfelbaum includes morning care and four lunch / evening care. A total of around 470 pupils from kindergarten to middle school age are fed and looked after in these care centres. Lunch and evening attendance hours are from Monday to Friday from 11.55 a.m. to 6 p.m.
