As an entry into the professional world and to support the team, we are looking for 1. January 2027 or by agreement for 7 months with the option of extension to 12 months a motivated personality.

Tasks

• They process and examine cases and submit criminal complaints according to the StGB and according to internally defined processes.
• They support the team with investigations and legal advice in the field of social assistance, general administrative and criminal law.
• You are the contact person in cooperation with the public prosecutor, the police, etc.
• They take on demanding editing tasks.

Profile

• Completed legal studies (at least Bachelor level)
• Interest in criminal and administrative law
• First work experience in the commercial or legal sector
• Structured, careful, committed and well-organised approach and working methods
• Very good oral and written expression in internal and external exchange as well as in writing legal texts

A versatile and meaningful job in an interdisciplinary team of 10 employees with a high level of expertise. It is possible to credit 3 months of the internship for admission to the Zurich Bar Examination if you have a master’s degree.

The In-depth Investigations team is one of six teams from Central Services. The Central Services provide leadership support and support services for the cadre and employees of the Social Services of the City of Zurich. The team in-depth investigations supports the case-leading social workers in the prevention of unlawful benefits in economic social assistance and in the preparation of criminal complaints.
