With their work in the five social centres, the social services ensure that people in the city of Zurich can count on effective basic social care.

For our team at the Social Centre Dorflinde we are looking for reinforcement immediately or by agreement.

Tasks

• They advise and accompany adult clients in financial and social difficulties and work with them to find ways for sustainable professional and social integration.
• They work monovalently: they provide economic social assistance. It is possible to carry additional civil law mandates for adults.
• You document your work comprehensibly in a case management system.
• You will be administratively supported by administrators, can draw on the knowledge of internal specialist positions and work closely with your colleagues in the team.

Profile

• University of Applied Sciences degree in Social Work
• Professional experience in the orientation of economic social assistance and/or in carrying out mandates in the protection of adults. Corresponding developments are advantageous.
• Commercial flair, organizational talent and good knowledge in financial topics
• Rapid comprehension of complex situations and the ability to assume different roles in counselling and support depending on the situation
• Safe presence in contact with people and a professional handling of different concerns and expectations
