We are looking for a software engineer to develop intelligent systems and experiences for emerging agents.

- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related technical field OR equivalent experience.
Main responsibilities
- Design, implement, test, and maintain software for intelligent systems, prototypes, and product experiences.
- Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and students to translate research ideas and early prototypes into robust implementations.
- Develop and integrate components involving areas such as multimodal AI, computer vision, spatial computing, embodied AI, robotics, data processing, simulation, or hardware integration.
- Evaluate system behavior, investigate technical issues, and improve performance, reliability, and maintainability.
Key requirements
- Required
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related technical field OR equivalent experience.
- Experience developing software in one or more programming languages, including but not limited to C++, C#, Python.
- Ability to collaborate across disciplines and learn unfamiliar technologies. Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in one or more relevant areas, such as AI or machine learning, computer vision, robotics, simulation, spatial computing, embedded systems, or distributed systems.
- Experience integrating software with machine-learning models, sensors, devices, or other complex systems.
- Experience taking experimental or research-oriented software toward a reliable and maintainable implementation.
- Familiarity with modern development practices and tools, including automated testing, continuous integration, debugging, profiling, and AI-assisted engineering workflows.
- Experience collaborating in research, academic, or multidisciplinary engineering environments. Software Engineering IC3
- The typical base pay range for this role across Switzerland is CHF 119,200.00
- CHF 195,500.00 per year.
- Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation.
