Who you are

As an apprentice at IKEA Switzerland, you are not on your own: you are part of a large apprenticeship community. Together, you experience a rich and varied experience in an international environment, learn to take responsibility and develop. [

During your apprenticeship, we show you step by step everything you need to be confident in working life and achieve your goals.

In logistics, you work behind the scenes but you are at the heart of the IKEA experience. With your team, you make sure our products are in the right place at the right time and that our shelves are always well stocked. You directly contribute to our customers finding what they are looking for and experiencing a pleasant shopping experience.

You don't need to know everything already! What matters is your curiosity, your desire to learn and get involved at IKEA.

For us to be made to hear us, you will ideally bring

• You're interested in what's going on behind the scenes and you want to understand how logistics works in practice, from delivery to radius.

• You like to move, get your hands on the dough and work in a dynamic environment

• You like working as a team, but you also know how to do tasks autonomously.

• You are open, respectful and you communicate honestly, also with people of different cultures, contributing to a good atmosphere

• You're ready to work early in the morning, late in the evening or sometimes on Saturdays.

• You're comfortable with a computer or tablet, you're very good at French and you have basics in English.

Your responsibilities

'- You learn to work with your team to ensure that the IKEA store and warehouse are always well stocked

• You practice unloading trucks and placing the goods in the right place, in reserve or directly on the surface of sale

• You use our computer systems to control and record inventory

• You understand the importance of working with other services, such as sales or customer service, to ensure a smooth experience

• You learn to work in a careful and secure manner, respecting the rules and helping to protect people, products and equipment

Additional information

The cover letter is not mandatory for us. Pre-selected candidates will be invited to spend an afternoon in an IKEA shop to get to know and discover practical learning. It helps us, you and us, to see if we're meant to work together.

*The afternoon of discovery will take place on 30 September and 21 October 2026 from 14h00 to 16h30 at the IKEA Aubonne store.
