V-ZUG Field Service Switzerland ###
The Field Service Switzerland ensures with passion and expertise that our high-quality devices run impeccably and provide our customers with pleasure every day. With 16 locations throughout Switzerland, we are always close by: reliable, solution-oriented and personal. Whether installation, maintenance or repair - we stand for first-class service directly on site. Those who work with us are on the road a lot, close to the people and part of a well-established team that supports each other and celebrates successes together.
This gives you the job ###
- You will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair, revision and maintenance of washing machines and dryers - directly at customers' homes, in an area close to home. No day is like the other: every mission brings a new situation, a new device, a new challenge
- You make binding repair offers and recognize when a repair makes sense - and when an exchange is the more honest recommendation. This assessment is in your hands, and you carry it with the necessary expertise and backbone
- You are not only a technician, but also a consultant: you instruct the customer about the operation, care and maintenance of their devices, clarify connection options and take the time to really answer questions - do not tick off
- You document your bets digitally via tablet: service reports, daily conclusions, offers - clean, complete and timely. This is part of the craft
- You’ll engage with your team every day in the service center – in the morning meeting – and stay up-to-date on service bulletins and technical updates. There is no standstill here, neither technically nor personally
You bring this for the job ###
- You have completed basic craft or electrotechnical training (EFZ or EBA) - ideally as an electrical installer:in, electronics engineer:in or in a comparable profession
- You’ll bring solid electrotechnical knowledge and know how to approach an unknown device – systematically, safely and without starting from the worst case. Ideally, you already bring the NIV 15 permit or are motivated to complete the required further training with us
- You enjoy direct customer contact and bring the ability to explain technical issues so that they arrive at someone who is not a technician - friendly, clear, at eye level
- You work independently and reliably: You know that on some days it gets tight with the schedule, and you still find a way to reconcile quality and deadlines.
- You are physically fit and are not afraid of demanding assignments - whether basement, laundry room or installation situation, which seems puzzling at first glance
- You communicate safely in German and French
- Other languages are a real plus
- You have a category B driver’s license
Questions about this listing
What salary does V-ZUG offer for this role?
The original listing does not state a salary. Our estimate for this role and sector in Sion is CHF 65'500 - 82'500 gross per year — an estimate, not a figure communicated by V-ZUG. The calculator on this site converts a gross salary into your actual net take-home once cross-border tax and social contributions are applied.
Is this a full-time role, and what type of contract does V-ZUG offer?
This listing is a full-time position. The contract type shown here comes directly from the employer's original posting; always confirm exact hours, notice period and probation length with V-ZUG during the application process, since these details can vary by role even within the same contract category.
Do I need a cross-border work permit for a role in Valais?
EU/EFTA citizens living in an EU/EFTA state can apply for a G permit and can work anywhere in Switzerland: border zones no longer apply to them, and they must return home at least once a week. The Swiss employer files the request with Canton Valais's migration office after the contract is signed. Processing times vary by canton, so confirm the specifics with Valais's cantonal migration office or with HR during the application.
How do I apply for this position at V-ZUG?
Use the "Apply now" button on this page — it links directly to V-ZUG's original listing at jobs.vzug.com, so your application goes straight to the employer's own applicant-tracking system. Frontaliere Ticino does not collect or forward applications itself.
