- In case of significant events, you will be part of ETH Zürich’s Notfallorganisationisation: you will provide advice and leadership support with your skills and experience. -- Main tasks

- It is the point of reference for all centralized measures relating to the management of Gefährdungen and the risks in order to protect people, animals, material goods, infrastructure and environment, as well as for compliance with the relevant regulations.
- In the Brand- und Explosionssschutz (BEx) sector, we assume responsibility for the organization and coordination of architectural, technical and organizational measures, including:
- the drafting and updating of internal concepts, technical-architectural requirements and guidelines;
- management or participation in integral safety concepts;
- Take personal, organizational responsibility and in terms of content and expertise within your competence and ensure the proper performance of core activities.
- As Sicherheitsbeauftragter Brandschutz according to the Weisung GVZ, he coordinates the themes of Brand- und Explosionsschutz across the ETH portfolio, including:
- planning and execution of internal audits, liberation of evacuation paths, Explosionsschutz, evaluation of events;
- management and training of internal interventions of first aid «Brand/Evacuation .
- Responsibility for creating and updating evacuation concepts for all ETH properties and defining related alarm processes.
