As an employee in the loading centre, site support in Visp, Switzerland, you are the linchpin of our company supply. You ensure that everything flows – from the raw material to the finished shipment to our customers. In this role, you take responsibility for the flow of goods, coordinate different interfaces and ensure that the supply and shipping work smoothly in the factory. Your logistics expertise, your experience in dealing with chemistry and your technical skills are in demand. You are part of a dedicated team that takes responsibility, actively develops processes and lives security every day – and thus contributes significantly to Arxada’s sustainable success.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Independent filling and unloading of BULK materials at handling stations
- Operation and monitoring of automatic cask, IBC and canister filling plants in the unloading and loading centre
- Management and monitoring of the flow of goods as well as ensuring a smooth operational supply and handling of shipping orders
- Reliable processing of tasks on the computer, including with MS Office, SAP, ILES, Syncrotess and our process control systems
- Close coordination and coordination with internal customers (factories, laboratories and transport services) to ensure smooth operations
- Review of existing processes as well as active identification and implementation of optimization possibilities
Qualifications and experience
- Completed training as a logistician, chemical or pharmaceutical technologist or comparable experience as an operator in chemical production or service companies
- Independent, flexible and responsible work with high accuracy and reliability
- Pronounced awareness of quality and safety as well as a high personal standard for strengthening the safety culture
- Enjoy working and communicating with laboratory, internal operations and driving services
- Very good knowledge of German in word and writing
- Technical understanding and safe handling of common IT systems
- Readiness to provide piquetting services
