As the largest media company in Switzerland, the SRG SSR stands for independent journalism, cultural diversity and public service in all four language regions. For the next term of office, we are looking for an integrity, strategically thinking and convincing personality as

President: in SRG SSR (50%)

In this demanding role, you take over the leadership of the Board of Directors and represent the SRG SSR to politics, business, society and the public. Together with the Board of Directors and the Executive Board, you shape the strategic development of SRG SSR and accompany its transformation in a dynamic media environment.

• You lead the Board of Directors of SRG SSR and ensure effective and future-oriented corporate governance
• They control the strategic development of the SRG SSR and ensure the sustainable fulfilment of their public service mission in the digital age.
• They promote the successful implementation of corporate and cultural transformation as well as the further development of a “One SRG” taking into account the cultural and linguistic diversity of the country
• You maintain a close exchange with the Director General and act as a sparring partner:
• They represent the SRG SSR vis-à-vis public authorities, policymakers and other stakeholders and promote dialogue between companies, stakeholders, politicians and the public
• They strengthen the anchoring of the public service in all language regions and represent the SRG SSR in the political, social and media environment.

• Several years of leadership and governance experience at the highest level as well as proven experience in the strategic support of complex transformation and change processes
• Excellent knowledge of the political functioning and decision-making processes in Switzerland with the best networking at the interface of society, business and media in Switzerland
• High technology affinity and a clear vision of how the media service public is positioned in the democratic and social environment with increasing dominance of artificial intelligence
• In-depth knowledge of modern corporate governance and experience in managing complex stakeholder landscapes
• Strong identification with the public service mission and its importance for Switzerland
• Convincing communication strength and a secure attitude towards politics, the media and the public
• Very good active knowledge in German and French as well as the willingness to acquire knowledge in Italian and actively live the multilingualism of Switzerland
