♪ Tasks - perform ordinary maintenance work along the cantonal road network of the Locarno Maintenance Centre (CMLoc) and on need to serve in other areas of the Operating and Maintenance Area (AEM) - control the performance of third parties in the ordinary work of road maintenance - to report dangerous situations, adopting the necessary measures in compliance with procedures and service directives - intervene in case of special events (incidents, floods, landslides, avalanches, etc.) informing superiors and correctly applying the working processes defined by CMLoc - provide picket service (experimental and winter) according to seasonal planning and perform work in turn out normal hours, on public holidays and at night, according to need - carry out the activities in accordance with the instructions received, the safety regulations in force, in the time and manner established by the directives and service procedures - conduct heavy vehicles category C/EC, industrial sweeper and special vehicles ♪ • Requirements - Federal certificate of capacity (AFC) in a profession of the technical or craft sector (building, civil engineering, forestry, metal constructions, mechanics, gardener, etc.) or previous practical activity in these same professional branches (second orientation sheet. ch "Accompaniment to road maintenance") - proven work experience at road maintenance yards in presence of traffic; special attention will be paid to the candidate's knowledge on the issues of site signs, accident prevention and personal safety - licence to conduct cat.
