Main responsibilities
- evaluate projects, prepare for and provide advice in the context of cantonal and federal authorisation procedures, in particular in relation to projects subject to environmental impact examination (EIA)
- evaluate projects, prepare for and advise on changing procedures of the cantonal plan and local planning
- evaluate and manage, in collaboration with the Offices concerned, cantonal and federal consultations in relation to drafting or updating policies, action plans and regulations in the environmental sector
- co-operation with the management of environmental aspects related to transversal issues such as water, agriculture, energy policy and climate change, coordinated with colleagues and the Offices concerned, ensuring technical advice within the Section
- to treat and coordinate contacts by collaborating with other departments of the Administration (Cantonal and Federal) and external bodies in relation to environmental issues of the Section
- co-operate with the processing of IT media and data collection and the processing of information on environmental issues
- to cooperate in the field of environmental protection and also to take special tasks at the request of the Section Head Requirements:
- academic training (bachelor and master or license or bachelor) preferably in the field of environmental sciences, good knowledge of environmental protection and multiannual working experience
- good knowledge of administrative and legal procedures relating to environmental protection, spatial planning, and authorisation procedures
- good knowledge of the operation of the Administration
