Description - Offer guidance counselling to clients who turn to the service, either spontaneously or on behalf of accompaniment, adopt appropriate counselling methods, models and approaches, based on psychological evidence, current and proven to be effective - Integrate the personal situation, life stage, biographical transitions and cultural, social and educational context of the client into the counselling - Collaborate and communicate with all the different interlocutors and partners - establish a relationship of trust with users by creating and maintaining a solid process- and results-oriented working alliance - use a person-centered, neutral, independent approach, in compliance with the ethical rules of the profession and the principles of confidentiality - Select and use validated, effective and innovative diagnostic and work tools, according to the needs of the user and the situation respecting the principles of efficiency - To monitor the situation of young people leaving compulsory schooling individually and on an ongoing basis - To collaborate and support in the implementation phase of the choice - To draw up relationships in the case of mandates, in accordance with the provisions of the collaboration agreements with the partners - To design, implement and promote information meetings and training to raise awareness of choices, career management or various issues related to guidance - Participate in the development of innovation projects within the Office - At the request of the Directorate, take on mandates for cantonal, intercantonal and federal commissions and working groups relating to educational, vocational, university and career guidance - Other activities could be assigned according to the skills, interests, skills or needs of the service - Continuously update the To maintain and improve the quality of one's professional activities - To reflect critically on one's specific competencies and to develop them ## Requirements - Guidance counsellor diploma recognised by SERI - In the absence of this: full university degree (Bachelor's and Master's) in the field of psychology - Currently eligible candidates are also eligible enrolled in a training course recognised by SERI leading to the diploma of guidance counsellor - Having gained direct and specific experience in the field of guidance in Switzerland, both middle school students and adolescents and adults, is a clear advantage - Strong relational, organisational and adaptation skills - Excellent collaborative skills, mediation and predisposition to teamwork and networking - Initiative and autonomy in work, sense of responsibility and reliability - Good knowledge of the territory, the economic and social reality of the Canton - Excellent knowledge of the Swiss education system and its peculiarities - Mastery of the Italian language and basic knowledge of the other official languages with mastery of at least one of them (French or German) - Predisposition to speak in public and interact with different age groups - Good knowledge of the Windows operating system and the MS Office package ## Specific remarks - Place of employment: Locarno - Entry into service: approximately 1.
